Portland Drum Co. offers the following services to help you get the most from your existing drums

To get the optimum performance from your drums, the bearing edges must be shaped correctly, level, and smooth. Even new drums from major manufacturers can have poorly done edges. To get a great drum sound, projection, and ease of tuning, you need perfect bearing edges! Many profiles are available, including: 30, 45, 60, or double 45 degree, full or part round-over, or any combination. I can also restore most edges to their original profile if so desired.

Snare drum buzzing uncontrollably? Properly shaped snare beds can allow the snare wires to seat properly, allowing the drum to tune easily and have the sensitivity it should.

Tired of that old look? Wrap faded and tired? Might be time to give the old tubs a face lift. Portland Drum Co. offers many wrap choices; contact me with your ideas and I'll happily provide you with a quote. (Please note- I do not stock drum wrap, it is a special order item).

I can put a natural or stained finish on your new shells, or in some cases, re-finish existing finishes. Contact me with your ideas and I'll work with you to find the perfect finish for your drums.
