Portland Drum Company began in 2005 when I made the decision to have creative control over the design and construction of my own instrument. After 35 years as a professional drummer it just wasn’t enough to buy a kit off the shelf, I wanted my instrument to reflect my own preferences; rich, warm tone, good projection, easy and accurate tuning, visual appeal, and functionality.
